Ignite Stocking Trip

Join the Ignite Missions Stocking Trip to Honduras on Th, Dec. 9 to Sun, Dec 12. You will be blessing a thousand kids in our Ignite Church villages with a stocking full of toys, fruit, and coloring book of the Christmas Story. Each persons team fee will be $300 that is required before filling in the Insurance Form that is below. This Team Fee includes insurance, food, transportation, lodging, and dining for the entire trip. Does not include flight purchase. Flight needs to be purchased before filling in the Insurance Form also. On Saturday night there will be a Christmas Party for our five Ignite Pastors and their families. If you would like to help with the purchase of their gifts, then please add this donation amount to your $300 Team Fee.

STEPS TO REGISTER

1. TOY TO FILL STOCKING
Decide if you as part of a group or individual can purchase and bring 1000 of a toy to fill the 1000 stockings. If you can purchase an item, then please choose that item before filling in the Sign Up Form below. Suggestions are chalk, marbles, candy, pencils, bubbles, jacks, balloons, cars or your own desire. Below is an updated list of what is already purchased to fill the stockings. View airline section below for information about luggage weight. Email or Message Peggy with questions. (615-939-9187) Normally one checked bag has 50 lb. weight limit but first class tickets have a 70 lb. limit.

2. SIGN UP FORM

Fill in the Sign up form below to register as a Group or Individual Person. If registering as a Group please choose a group leader and register with that name, You will be given the chance to sign up all of your group members when filling in the form as a Group.

 


 

 

3. PURCHASE AIRFARE
Purchase airfare for you as an individual or group/family for (Th, Dec. 9 Arrival) - (Sun. Dec. 12 Departure). You will be arriving in Tegucigalpa, Honduras with TGU airport code.

 

Honduras is in the middle of changing airport locations in the month of December, so it is recommended that you purchase airfare straight from the airline instead of a third party for ease of possible flight changes. We recommend using American Airlines right now.

MINOR
If you have a minor that is traveling without one of their parents, the airline may require a Minor Form to be filled in and notarized. Please check the airline rules.

PASSPORT
Your passport must be 6 months valid from departure date to enter the country of Honduras.

TRAVEL ENTRANCE AND EXIT PAPERS
Enter Honduras
1. COVID TEST: You must show a printed copy of Covid vaccination or a Negative test within 24 hours of departure. 
2. PRE-CHECK FORM: You must also follow this LINK to Register for filling in the Pre-Check Form and Health Form before checking in at airline. You may change the page language to English. This is required for entrance into Honduras. We will be glad to assist in this process.

Depart Honduras
You must show proof of Negative Covid Test. On the day before you depart we will have this test administered and will be $50 per person that is not covered in the team fee. You can pay this fee with your credit card at time of checkout at the hospital.

LUGGAGE
Check with your airline policies about luggage fees. 



 

 

4. PAY TEAM FEE
After purchasing your airfare, then please pay the Team Member Fee that is $300 per person. This can be an individual payment or a group payment that would include each person in your family or group. You may also add a donation to this team fee for purchasing Christmas gifts for our Ignite Pastors. Place a message in the form below with the amount you plan to donate for the gifts. Fill in the form below to pay.





5. FILL IN INSURANCE FORM
After purchasing your airfare and paying the Team Member Fee, please fill in the form below for each person in your group, family or individual.
